Victoria Beckham whipped snappers into a frenzy when it appeared she'd taken a few style notes from Harry Styles in her Burberry heart-print shirt.

The fashion designer was spied making her way through JFK airport in New York wearing the burgundy, cute print shirt - which has been an A-lister must have thanks to it's fitted shape and epaulettes.

Strolling through the airport, the 39-year-old looked bang-on-trend in the shirt from Burberry's AW13 collection, teaming it with high-waisted flared jeans and her trademark sunglasses.

But while everyone was busy making the comparison between VB and the One Direction cutie - who stepped out in a black and white version from the menswear collection - fashion fans are well aware this is no new obsession.

The Burberry heart print shirt first caused a mini-storm when it was debuted by Karlie Kloss at London Fashion Week AW13 - our first clues that cute prints were set to be big news for the coming season.

Worn with a burgundy transparent skirt, Karlie garnered the entire star-studded FROW's attentions in the creation - showing off a version with a contrasting leather collar.

Shirts weren't the only pieces to be scattered with the cute heart motif either, with Cara Delevingne showing off some high-waisted knickers in the print under a transparent skirt at the runway show.

The print went on to dominate shift dresses, accessories and even outerwear during the Burberry Prorsum show - with one model showing off a calf-skin tan coat emblazoned with cute black hearts.

Naturally, the stars have already snapped up the must-have shirt for the new season - with Elle Fanning, VB (who's had hers since May) and Harry Styles all showing their love for the new trend.

And while we're anticipating seeing the cute print dominating many a red carpet to come, you'll be pleased to know the trend has hit the great British high street just in time for autumn.
