Karl Lagerfeld’s latest crush, ‘it’ girl and model Alice Dellal, stars in the new ad campaign for Chanel’s new bag for Spring/Summer 2012 – the Boy bag.
After meeting on a photo shoot Karl chose Alice to be the face of the new tougher, must-have Chanel bag. With her shaven undercut hairstyle and punk dress sense, Alice is the perfect choice to front this new campaign, which celebrates non-conformist femininity.
The newly released shots show Karl setting up the image and photographing his model, who poses in a rather grand, Parisian house setting looking like quite the punkish heiress in her quintessential fish net tights. She can be seen reclining on a sofa, desk and dressing table with that true Chanel spirit of decadence and rebellion.
Something of a current fashion favourite, Alice has also recently modelled for Agent Provocateur, Vivienne Westwood and Marc by Marc Jacobs.
