Lily Collins shows off Audrey Hepburn inspired beauty look as it’s announced she’s the new face of Lancome

The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones actress joins Emma Watson and Julia Roberts as ambassadress for the luxury French beauty house

She blossomed into quite the fashionista on The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones promo trail, but now Lily Collins can add another string to her bow.

The 24-year-old daughter of Phil Collins has just been announced as the new face of beauty house Lancome.

The Brit-born actress was chosen for epitomising femininity and bringing ‘radiance and youthfulness’ to the brand.

“With her charm, gracefulness, modernity and lively wit, Lily Collins is the perfect embodiment of femininity,” said Françoise Lehmann, General Manager of Lancôme International.

“We are delighted to begin this collaboration with Lily, who brings a renewed sense of radiance and youthfulness to Lancôme.”

The Mirror Mirror actress was described as a ‘delicate beauty’ by the French beauty house – as well as bearing a ‘striking resemblance’ to Audrey Hepburn, a comparison that Lily has been blessed with in the past.

The stunning star – currently living in Los Angeles as she embarks on her movie career - joins A-list actresses including Julia Roberts and Emma Watson as an ambassadress for Lancome.

Lily’s first campaign for the beauty brand will be the spring 2014 make-up collection, French Ballerine.

Considering she’s a granddaughter of a ballerina it sounds like she’s the perfect fir for the SS14 campaign.

Judging by when the campaign images of Emma Watson’s Lancome in Love Spring 2013 collection dropped, we can expect to see Lily’s first campaign shots in January 2014.
