Kim Kardashian And Kanye West's Matchy-Matchy Style Reaches New Monochromatic Heights At Couture Week

They already have a combo nickname, but now Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have the official stamp of coupledom: a unified dress code. As the the KK pair hit the Kouture shows in Paris this week, we couldn't help but notice their synchronised style is more co-ordinated than ever. Not only that, but they're firmly sticking to a monochrome-only palette. Yep, it's getting that serious.

The most recent piece of evidence appeared yesterday when the loved-up pair hit the front row at Valentino's show looking like ying and yang. Kim opted for a lacy LBD with gladiator heels while Kanye went all-white in a crisp shirt, matching trousers and yep, white trainers. Bleuuugh Aww. At the Stephane Rolland show a day before, we were treated to another dose of neutral-coloured co-ordination from Kim 'n' Kan. She wore a black mullet-style dress adorned with a ginormous white ruffle while he wore a black T-shirt, black jacket, black trousers, black shoes and (probably) black socks. But the lookalike obsession first forced us to raise a quizzical eyebrow at Sunday’s BET Awards in Los Angeles when they both wore white. This followed a snap on Kim's Instagram of His & Hers Air Yeezy trainers. Surely clothes swapping is the next step, no?

Kim Kardashian Kanye West Monochrome Style Fashion

    Kim's wardrobe pre-Kanye

In fact, this mutual monochroming is just the latest development in Kim's fash-over. From her black Givenchy peplum dress and sharp-shouldered blazers to her biker-tastic leather leggings and black pointed Christian Louboutin heels, Kim's style is noticeably sleeker, simpler and well, more Kanye-ian. Compare these recent outings to her wardrobe BK (Before Kanye) and the transformation is undeniable. Remember the flashy bling, the layers of curled extensions, the bright colour-blocking and the glitzy gowns that she used to endorse so avidly? Yep, they are long gone.

So is this style affinity Kimye's way of telling the world they are the perfect matchy-match? Or might it be Kanye moulding his new lady into a more fashwan-y and couture-appropriate dresser? Now that he's a bona fide designer, he can't be having an utterly bonkers bombshell beside him (*ahem Amber Rose). But let's hear your thoughts please. Is merging your style the secret to relationship harmony? Or is it ever so slightly sickly? Sound off in the comment box below…
