After wowing in vintage at Wimbledon, Kate Middleton added a pop of colour to her look today as she stepped out in a yellow Emilia Wickstead coat dress.
The Duchess of Cambridge was out in support of her hubby Prince William, who was honoured as Knight of the Thistle in Edinburgh (the highest honour possible in Scotland).
Keeping the fashion press on their toes, Kate ditched Alexander McQueen for the day in favour of the ladylike lemon number, which featured a strong collar and flattering pleats. So pretty!
Being that it was also her first public appearance as the Countess of Strathearn, she introduced traditional prints into her ensemble with a Strathearn tartan scarf.
She completed her look with a chocolate-coloured Whiteley hat and matching suede heels, courtesy of British designer Emmy Scarterfield.
