The Duchess of Cambridge, 31, opted for a check coat by English women's clothing brand Moloh, which uses fine English and Scottish materials in its designs - very fitting for her official visit to Scotland.
The navy and grey tartan-style coat with military buttons showed only the very faintest hint of Catherine's baby bump, despite the royal baby being due in just four months time.
Kate teamed the coat with black heeled boots and black tights. She also matched her earrings to her engagement ring - sapphire drops surrounded by sparkling diamonds.

The outfit is a typically well put together, though not especially adventurous, style for the Duchess.
Her recent appearances have seen Kate wear a teal and black coat, a cream Goat coat over her highstreet Topshop black dress and a green coat-dress for St Patrick's Day (recycled from the previous year, no less). Pregnant Kate looked happy and healthy, with her trademark tousled locks tumbling to her shoulder and smiling at children who came to meet her.
Prince William, 30, and Kate, known as The Earl And Countess Of Strathearn in Scotland, toured Glasgow's Emirates Arena, which has a key part in the Commonwealth Games later this year. Scotland has a special place in the couple's hearts as the pair met while both were at the University of St Andrews in 2001. The couple will travel around the country in the next few days.
