Jogging is an aerobic exercise which is a faster pace than walking, but not as quick as a running pace. It is a cheap and simple way to keep fit as not much equipment is required (running shoes and comfortable clothing). It can be performed on a treadmill or outdoors to improve fitness without exerting too much stress or strain on the body. Jogging is often used as a warm-up for other exercises and is an effective way of building up endurance levels.
