Jessica Chastain blew all the other Oscars 2013 arrivals out of the water with her fashion-forward red carpet choice tonight.
The Zero Dark Thirty actress, who's nominated for Best Actress at the Academy Awards, wowed the crowds at the ceremony in Hollywood in her chic Armani Prive gown.
Speaking to Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet, Jessica revealed she wanted to create an old-Hollywood glamour look on her big night.
"I saw so many gowns," she told the presenter. "I was going for that old-Hollywood glamour look."
The actress flaunted her enviable figure in the sophisticated gown, which featured a delicate, silver cobweb-like pattern over a golden satin.
Teaming her look with classic, romantic waves in her hair, red lipstick and diamond jewels, she looked comfortable and relaxed in her red carpet choice as she moved her way up the carpet.
Jessica Chastain, who told presenter Ryan that she's "had a very happy year," joked that she had a bit more choice when it came to her red carpet look tonight.
"Yes, I do have a lot more options than last year!" she told the host.
"[But] I love fashion, [so] it was a very tough decision."
