Actress Jennifer Lawrence has refused to diet in order to land film roles.
The Hunger Games actress has said she wants to set a positive image for her young female fans.
The 22-year-old says she will not be losing weight to fit into the Hollywood image and wants to look healthy.
She told Elle magazine, "In Hollywood, I'm obese. I'm considered a fat actress…I eat like a caveman. I'll be the only actress who doesn't have anorexia rumours."
The actress came under criticism for her 'healthy' appearance in the first instalment of the Hunger Games films, where she played Katniss Everdeen.
Critics said as there is a food shortage in Panem where Katniss is from, Lawrence's character should have looked more malnourished.
However she says she will not give in to the pressure, "I'm never going to starve myself for a part. I keep waiting for that one role to come along that scares me enough into dieting, and it just can't happen. I'm invincible."
Lawrence is aware of how popular her character in the Hunger Games films is, saying, "I don't want girls to be like, 'Oh I want to look like Katniss, so I'm going to skip dinner.' That's something I was really conscious of during training, when you're trying to get your body to look exactly right.
I was trying to get my body to look fit and strong, not thin and underfed."
