Jennifer Lawrence steals the show at the Hunger Games: Catching Fire premiere in an edgy but elegant Dior gown

The A-list actress ensured that all eyes were on her in the dramatic dress

She's become known for her elegant but on-trend style since rising to the ranks of the A-list.

And Jennifer Lawrence certainly didn't disappoint as she hit the red carpet at the Hunger Games: Catching Fire premiere in London on Monday night.

The Oscar-winning star, who arrived in Leicester Square wearing a bright red coat, whipped it off to reveal an eye-catching Dior gown as she posed for pictures.

Offset by her new pixie cut, Jennifer looked sophisticated in the draped satin gown, which had a panel of multi-coloured beading at the front.

But the star, who's recently hit back at weight critics, decided to cover-up her famous curves in the loose-fitting outfit.

The white satin gown was loosely cinched in at the waist and had edgy sheer cut-out panels around the sides.

Jennifer kept her male-up simple and was wearing just a touch of peach bronzer and matching lipstick, with a light coating of mascara.

The star hit the red carpet solo and had clearly left British boyfriend Nicholas Hoult at home as rumours of an engagement circulated this week.

While she was spotted wearing a band on her wedding ring finger last week, she was bare-handed at the premiere - keeping her fans guessing.
