How exciting: there's another Royal Wedding a-coming! Princess Caroline of Monaco has announced her eldest son Andrea Casiraghi is engaged to Tatiana Santo Domingo. The second in line to the throne is due to marry the Swiss born heiress, who is the granddaughter of Colombia's $6bn magnate, the late Julio Mario Santo Domingo, next year.
The loved-up couple, both 28, adorably met whilst studying at the same school in Paris so have known each other for over seven years. Yep, this is more of a Prince William and Kate Middleton love story than a runaway bride situation. Phewf.
Indeed, Andrea's 'happy' mother declared that she ‘had the joy’ to announce the engagement in a statement released today and it's no secret the Monaco prince is quite the catch. Not only is he the grandson of Grace Kelly, but he has been named as one of the 50 most beautiful people in the world as well as the most stylish royal man (err, have they not SEEN Prince Harry's blue shoes?) before Forbes placed him tenth on its '20 Hottest Young Royals' list.
Meanwhile, Tatiana is a fash-tastic New York socialite who was born in Geneva. She speaks five languages and has a wonderfully bohemian wardrobe, which landed her on Vanity Fair's international best dressed list in 2010. So it's no wonder the alluring brunette caught the eye of the prince. What's more, Tatiana created the ethical retail portal Muzungu Sisters, which she heads with business partner Dana Alikhani and you know what that means? We can expect another gorgeously extravagant Royal dress, perhaps of her own creation.
To give us a clue of what's to come, we've taken a trip down memory lane to remember some of the finest Royal wedding gowns EVER. From Grace Kelly's lacy number to xx, take a look through the gallery above…
