HAIR HOW TO: Faux bob like Zooey Deschanel on the Oscars red carpet

While Zooey Deschanel's heavy blunt fringe and glossy lengths have long been her signature look, the New Girl actress hit the Oscars last night rocking a short and sweet new hairdo!

So naturally, we want to steal her style. Enter Sophie Dugdale of the Janet Maitland Creative Team...

STEP 1: To recreate Zooey Deschanel's gorgeous look with a faux bob, blow dry your hair with a big round brush to give you smooth bouncy hair.

STEP 2: Set the hair on heated rollers and allow to cool, then brush out the curls using a Mason Pearson brush.

STEP 3: Using your fingers, neatly pin your hair underneath itself to give the basic shape.

STEP 4: Once pinned, gently loosen shorter curls to cover the pins. Finish the look with OSiS Sparkler to give you a glamorously glossy faux bob.
