Chanel has a vast catalogue of iconic bags but we have never seen one quite like this. At the Chanel spring/summer 2013 presentation in the luxurious Grand Palais Lagerfeld sent what could possibly be the largest quilted Chanel bag ever down the catwalk.

Dwarfed by the huge black and white tote a model walked down the runway with it on her shoulder wearing a sheer Chanel swimsuit with stacked cream, black and red platform shoes.
The giant hula hoop-shaped carrier might not be the most practical beach bag but it has already won the hearts of the fashionistas.
One Twitter user commented: “Love the bathing suit & hula hoop bag you can take it 2 the beach and hula hoop Chanel style #pfw” [sic]
Another tweeted: “I want that hula-hoop bag! #PFW #CHANEL @CHANEL”
After the show Lagerfeld explained the Chanel hula hoop bag doubled up as a drying rack.
"It's for the beach," Lagerfeld said. "You need space for the beach towel, huh? And then you can put it into the sand and hang things on it."
Other highlights from the Chanel SS13 collection include giant sunhats, huge chunky pearls and the brand’s signature tweed suits.Many celebrities took to the FROW at the Grand Palais, including Jennifer Lopez and her boyfriend Casper Smart, Kanye West and model Baptiste Giabiconi.
