From McDonalds to Catwalk: Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn prove models do eat fast food

Catwalk queens Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn show off their Maccy D bags ahead of Burberry show

We generally assume that London Fashion Week is entirely fuelled by diet coke, cigarettes and green juice, but two rising stars on the modelling scene are keen to show us that they really do eat actual food. And not just any kind of food; really quite unhealthy food at that.

Brit rising star Cara Delevingne posted a photo to Instagram of herself and her pal, fellow model Jourdan Dunn, grinning widely with McDonald bags between their teeth.

She tweeted the shot, saying: "My food is faster than yours!!! #fashionweekdietplan @officialjdunn,"

We know that Cara's quite the fast food fiend as she often posts her foodie finds online. But right before the Burberry runway? Is the girl mad?!

On one level it makes us feel reassured that despite the skeletal bodies on display on the catwalks at Fashion Week, models do get time to snaffle down some nosh backstage.

But on the other, how can Jourdan and Cara get away with this sort of food and still be bikini body ready immediately after? Not to mention having the bright eyed, clear skinned look we've attributed to gallons of spinach-infused, watercress juice.

Cara has kept us up to date with all the backstage action at LFW, tweeting pics of her meeting idol Kate Moss, getting locked in a dog cage by Marc Jacob's dog Neville, and larking about in Black Score balaclavas.

After her Maccy D feast, Cara walked the Burberry runway, which was attended by an A-list FROW that included Harry Styles, who has been linked to but denied any romance with, the model. But regardless, he still headed backstage to see her after the show.

So we'll be chucking out the juicer and heading to a burger joint ASAP*.

*This is a terrible idea.
