BIC comes to the rescue of women everywhere with a pack of pens made especially for delicate lady-hands
At last! Women rejoice, for now we have a special biro designed just for us. According to BIC, which has made the female-specialist pen, the 'for Her' range is sleek, beautifully smooth and there's even a 'fashion' option for those ultra-stylish writing requirements.

At which point, let's just quickly check we're talking about a pen and not a tampon or women's razor. Nope, we're definitely still talking about a biro here.
Unsurprisingly, we're not the only ones unable to keep our sarcasm in check. Amazon, which sells the pens, has been inundated with witty reviews from bewildered punters.
"So glad that there is finally a writing implement that I can use!" says 'dissapointed' [sic] on the site. "Before, all of the pens were not specifically marked as suitable for my soft disposition and I am so glad that I can now write in my diary between my housework and cooking."
The pens come in 'girly' designs, pastel shades and importantly, pink and purple ink (as well as the more manly black and blue). They are also more expensive, making us feel that extra bit special while using them.
"Finally! For years I've had to rely on pencils, or at worst, a twig and some drops of my feminine blood to write down recipes (the only thing a lady should be writing ever)," commented 'breemeup', also in the user reviews section. "I had despaired of ever being able to write down said recipes in a permanent manner, though my men-folk assured me that I "shouldn't worry yer pretty little head". But, AT LAST! Bic, the great liberator, has released a womanly pen that my gentle baby hands can use without fear of unlady-like callouses and bruises. Thank you, Bic!"
Here's hoping someone out there is selling suitably glittery writing paper for us to write down our sparkly lady-thoughts on too, with our special new pens.
