Enrique Iglesias Reveals Anna Kournikova has NEVER Met His Dad!
The singer revealed that his family STILL haven't met his girlfriend of twelve years.
Maybe his Dad’s more of a Navratilova fan?
Enrique Iglesias has revealed how his father (and housewives’ favourite) Julio is still yet to meet his girlfriend of 12 years, Anna Kournikova.
Perhaps Enrique got a bit nervous watching ‘Meet The Fockers’.
The Iberian pop impresario revealed to our pals at Billboard:
“The last 14 years, 15 years of my life have flown by. And that's the only way I can truly explain it. There's no reason why - it's not his fault, and it's not my fault."
Not being funny, but the Iglesias clan seems slightly defensive if you ask us.
We once had a boyfriend whose line was ‘I’m REALLY busy’, every time we raised the issue of meeting the parents - he turned out to be leading a double life as a fishmonger in Sussex. WATCH OUT ANNA.
Though it seems that the pair are just totally chilled out about the whole marriage sitch, so maybe that explains the tennis-pro’s absence from all Iglesias Sunday lunches for the past 12 years – Enrique previously told Parade magazine that:
“I've never really thought marriage would make a difference. Maybe it's because I come from divorced parents, but I don't think you love someone more because of a piece of paper. Nowadays, it's not taboo to have kids and not be married."
OH MY GOD, did he just say ‘kids’?!
Perhaps we’re getting carried away. Just don’t screw this up Enrique, or you may not be a ‘Hero’ to the sisterhood for much longer.
