This Artist Makes Mini Game Of Thrones Crochet Characters

Now you can buy your very own John Snow to snuggle up to at night

Despite the fact that winter never seems to end in Game Of Thrones, these tiny warming treats might help you overcome the cold ahead of Season 6 (and heartbreaking losses of Season 5).

Romanian artist and architect Anamaria Androne crochets mini woollen GoT characters for fans using a Japanese technique called amigurumi.

Anamarie, who sells and blogs about her collection at Merique Crochet, says she "fell in love" with the hobby in 2010 after teaching herself the craft through YouTube videos.

She told Bored Panda: "I first saw a little amigurumi chick on a popular portfolio website and fell in love with it, I have been crocheting ever since.

"My creations are not very big, they are no taller than 20cm. I also consider them to be more than toys, they are collectibles, gestures of care, love, and happiness.

"I do it for the love of crochet, the love of craft and to bring a little bit of sunshine in your day."

You can see more of Anamarie's work on her Etsy store and her blog, Merique Crochet.
