As the party season draws ever closer, you’ll be hit with a barrage of beauty tutorials and beauty products.

We all want to help you to create the “PERFECT” party look!

But with all these new styles and tutorials to choose from, you might end up more confused than you were when you started - many looks can become over complicated and can require too much time to master.

With this easy two step tutorial I aim to show you just how easy It can be and how quick it is to create the perfect smokey eye.

The first step is to add your base, I’m using L’Oreal super liner £9.99, although this is a gel eyeliner I’ve been loving it as a eyeshadow.

Take your Index finger or a small brush - I used Elf’s Crease Brush £1.95 and roughly apply where you want the majority of the colour to be.

I applied it all over my lid and slightly underneath my eye. Now, just a word of warning, this gets messy and will make you resemble a panda, but don’t worry, this all gets sorted out In the next step.

The next step is where the magic happens, all you need is a big fluffy brush.

I used Mac’s 217 Blending Brush £19.00 - it’s a pricey one, but I promise you it works wonders! It practically does all the work for you.

However there are other good ones available, such as the Sigma E25 £9.95.

What you want to do is hold the very end of the brush with a light hand and blend left to right and In a slight circular motion just where the top of the colour is. You can add more gel to intensify the colour If you want.

Once you are happy with how It looks Its time to start adding your finishing touches - I lined my top and bottom waterline with Jelly Pong Pongs 2 - 1 Liner £10.50 in black and then gave my lashes a bit of oomph with Clinique’s High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara £18.00
