London Fashion Week SS15: Millie Mackintosh, Abbey Clancy, Tanya Burr On FROW As Julien MacDonald Proves Fashion Dreams Can Come True

London Fashion Week stalwart Julien MacDonald brought an ethereal charm to the weekend as he showcased his SS15 collection on Saturday lunchtime, proving that (fashion) dreams really do come true.

The Vibe

Whimsical, ethereal, floaty and magical. Julien sprinkled some extra special fairy dust on London Fashion Week, with an array of delicate fabrics, shimmery hues and intricately detailed bridalwear. Midsummer Night's Dream meets The Little Mermaid.

The Standouts

This embellished empire line organza mini, with embroidered lace and metallic neckline was Made In Chelsea Millie Mackintosh's favourite. We were similarly smitten.

Youtube vlogger Tanya Burr opted for our other hero piece - a metallic bodice dress with floaty bronze skirt. A dream.

Here Comes The Bride

It was Julien's bridal pieces that really had the audience in a flutter - intricate long lace gowns, short layered organza dresses and showstopper veils.

One gown in particular had jaws dropping - a £4 MILLION dress embroidered with freshwater pearls and real diamonds.

The Welsh designer claimed his inspiration for the collection was a lovelorn mermaid and the showstopper dress represented her "dream ethereal wedding dress - diamonds, pearls, expense, lace, glamour."

The Hair & Make-Up

Slicked back hair and embrodered lace hair pieces extended the intricate detailing beyond the dresses.

Face-wise, bronzed cheekbones, Cara Delevingne brows and lashings of gold shimmer eyeshadow completed the fantasy.

The other-worldly vibe was emphasised with a gorgeous all-over sheen, thanks to St. Tropez, that has been labelled SS15 Mermaid Gleam.

The FROW

A vamped up Strictly Come Dancing's Abbey Clancy rubbed shoulders with Made In Chelsea gals Millie Mackintosh and Rosie Fortescue - who wowed in red and black minis respectively - whilst vlogger Tanya Burr went for a fierce leather look. Laura Whitmore added to the glamour of it all.
