But Jennifer Lawrence seems to have had a change of heart as she debuted her new longer hairstyle over the weekend.
The 23-year-old US actress has grown out her pixie cut hairstyle into a short, choppy bob that we’ve fallen a little bit in love with.
Oscar winner Jen looks gorgeous with the newly grown-out style - that falls just below her ears - framing her face beautifully.
Her naturally blonde hair has been dyed into a brighter hue while her mousey roots are more visible with the newer, choppier style.
But we reckon it suits her down to a tee – with the messy feel looking fun and age-appropriate.
The new snaps were taken as J-Law was arriving at Good Morning America in New York for her first public appearance since Catching Fire was released.
She was also spotted out and about in NYC with her new hair – although it looked slightly shorter than the snaps of her arriving for Good Morning America.
The Silver Linings Playbook actress showcased her pixie cut hairstyle at the end of last year to praise from the beauty world.
However the hairstyle started garnering negative attention on the awards season red carpet, with some critics labeling it ‘ageing.’
We reckon Jen looks beaut whichever hairstyle she’s rocking – but this might be our fave look of hers yet!
