    The Hollywood actress has joined forces with the high-street retailer and inspired a capsule range of 16 signature pieces.

    M&S has revealed its first AW13 collection under the brand’s new Style Director.

    Belinda Earl was tasked with turning around the fortunes of the high-street brand – and the first range under her leadership has finally dropped.

    Monochrome is a key trend in the M&S AW13 Womenswear collectionThe M&S AW13 collection is bang-on-trend for this season, with key looks including monochrome, leather, sequins and brocade print giving it an opulent feel.

    Les Miserables was one of the biggest films of 2012 and was narrowly beaten to the Best Picture Oscar by Ben Affleck’s Argo at last year’s Academy Awards.

    Aside from the fact British director Tom Hooper insisted all the actors sing live in what was a first for a musical film, stars including Anne Hathaway and Hugh Jackman hit the headlines for their dramatic weight loss.

    Now, the costume director for the film, Paco Delgado, has revealed what it was like working with the cast – factoring in their changing body shapes and Anne Hathaway’s vegan wardrobe demands.

    The US actress joins celebrities including Claudia Schiffer and Ellen Degeneres in following a strict vegan lifestyle and she certainly brought her demands onto the set with her.

    Delgado, who was nominated for an Oscar and a BAFTA for his work on Les Mis, admitted the first thing the US actress told the crew was that she was a vegan.

    “I wanted her to have an edge - a very structured makeup look, but barely there at the same time.”

  • Ottavio Missoni dies aged 92

    Missoni co-founder passed away peacefully at his home in Sumirago, Italy

    Ottavio Missoni, co-founder of Italian fashion house Missoni, has sadly passed away aged 92.

    The former athlete launched the iconic brand – famed for its zig-zag print – in the 1950s with wife Rosita, seen here.

    Ottavio Missoni has died in Italy aged 92 [Rex]The Missoni family are a fashion dynasty, with his children Angela and Luca now running the business.

    His 82-year-old wife Rosita continues to oversee the brand’s homeware section, while his granddaughter Margherita runs the accessories business.

    News of Ottavio's death comes after tragedy struck the family earlier this year, when son son Vittorio, 58, went missing in a light aircraft with his wife and four others. 

    The search is continuing for them but at the moment it is still not known what happened to him, the fellow passengers or the plane.
