Blake Lively works the monochrome trend in New York photoshoot

Blake Lively is bang-on-trend in monochrome as she poses for a magazine photoshoot in New York.

The Gossip Girl actress was photographed in the stylish ensemble by acclaimed photographer Patrick Demarchelier on the streets of the Big Apple.

Ryan Reynold’s wife, 25, worked up a storm as she showed off her toned pins in the fashionable outfit.

Blake was spotted in a white leather jacket with chain detailing teamed with the matching micro-mini skirt.

Her white outfit was styled with a black roll-neck top, ankle boots and a metallic clutch for a fashion-forward take on the monochrome trend.

To complete the look, the Hollywood actress added a pair of stylish mirrored aviators and silver jewellery.

But Blake’s black-and-white outfit isn’t the only ensemble she was posing in for the New York shoot.

The US actress sported a range of different looks, including a fur-lined baby blue wool coat which was styled with black ankle boots.

The LA-born star also wowed in a long-sleeved black mini-dress with a fedora hat.

Blake’s all-black outfit was completed with a pair of peep-toe, over-the-knee ankle boots that showed off her slim pins.

The Lucky magazine star's on-trend photoshoot comes after she was one of few stars to wow on the Met Gala 2013 red carpet in New York.

The newly married actress looked amazing in a strapless Gucci Premiere gown with black fishtail and drop earrings.
