According to a survey by Asda, 95 per cent of parents have used baby products on themselves, with 70 per cent admitting that they carry on even after their baby has grown out of them.
Baby products tend to be much cheaper than their adult counterparts, with mums ditching expensive moisturiser for baby oil, and even trusting their locks to baby shampoo. Victoria Beckham is reportedly a fan of bog standard baby oil and 53 per cent of the parents polled agreed that it’s just as good as brands such as Nivea – but up to 300 per cent cheaper!
Another secret mums have discovered is the wonder of nappy rash cream, loved by teens for sorting out spotty skin and used by adults to treat minor burns, bites and for cuts and grazes.
