It’s the final day of London Fashion Week, and we’re fully expecting the LFW AW13 season to come to a spectacular close.
There’s an exciting and eclectic line up today. Here’s what you can expect.
First up is Simone Rocha, closely followed by Lucas Nascimento and Paul Costelloe. Next comes one of our anticipated highlights – Anya Hindmarch.
Anya Hinchmarch knows how to put on a good show. Her runways are always full of imagination and extravagance. Her SS13 show featured a carousel, bubbles, and a little treat in the shape of Quality Street on on every seat. She’s been hinting at what’s in store today, releasing a teaser this week promising "50,000 dominoes, 35 mouse traps, zero rehearsals and one chance". Definitely not one to miss.
With celeb fans including Anne Hathaway and Cameron Diaz, look out for some A-listers on the FROW.
Another show sure to draw in the fash pack this morning is industry favourite Roksanda Ilincic.
Recently decorated by both the British Fashion Council and the Elle Style Awards for her services to red carpet fashion, the Central St Martins graduate’s designs have been worn by everyone from Michelle Obama and Kate Middleton to Amanda Seyfried and Jessica Chastain.
Ilincic’s signature look is full of clean lines and wearable, classic designs. Her SS13 collection was full of block colours and we’re hoping for another bright runway from her today.
This afternoon we’ll be at both Ashish and Maria Grachvogel, so look out for our show reports later.
Ashish is promising "sequins, glamour, sportswear and more sequins", which are his signature look. His SS13 collection in September delivered just that – with a neutral palette of sports luxe-inspired looks.
Meanwhile Maria is known for her trousers, jumpsuits and beautiful artistic prints. Her last collection was simply beautiful, full of pastels, elegant silhouettes and exquisite prints. We’re hoping she picks up where SS13 left off this afternoon.
The day, and the AW13 schedule, draw to a close with Aminaka Wilmont and Haizhen Wang.
We might be exhausted after five days of running around London from show to show, but we’re still sad to wave goodbye to another LFW season. But enough of that – there’s a whole day jam-packed full of spectacular runway shows to enjoy first.
