Amanda Seyfried stole the show from co-star Anne Hathaway in an Alexander McQueen dress at the New York premiere of Les Mis last night.
Amanda, 27 looked dazzling in a dress from the designer’s SS13 collection for the Les Miserables screening at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City.
Amanda’s Alexander McQueen dress featured a gold embellished bodice and a flowing back train, which she teamed with an on-trend metallic tortoiseshell belt.
The American actress, who plays Cosette in the film, completed the look with a classic black Alexander McQueen box clutch and jewels by Harry Winston.
The star wore a chic up-do for the premiere, plaiting her golden blonde locks around her oversized bun. She kept her make-up simple except for showstopping, bronzed smokey eyes.

Anne Hathaway on the other hand made a fashion faux pas on the red carpet in a bizarre Tom Ford SS13 dress.
The 30-year-old American actress wore a daring black dress from the designer’s SS13 collection featuring a unique cape style back and thigh high split.
The star, who plays Fantine in the film and notoriously lost a huge amount of weight for the role, let her Tom Ford cut-out boots do the talking with minimal jewellery.
We prefer the classic style of Amanda’s Alexander McQueen gown to Anne’s risky Tom Ford dress which made the actress look a little cheap.
