All Saints to debut at New York Fashion Week

East London brand to bring something ‘unexpected and innovative’ to NYFW schedule

All Saints is to make its debut at New York Fashion Week.

The East London fashion label will showcase its Spring / Summer 2014 collection at NYFW for the first time in September.

The British retailer will present its SS14 range on the 8th and 9th of September – but press and buyers can arrange one-on-one time with the brand’s CEO, William Kin.

It’s the first time the edgy label has appeared on the fashion week schedule – but All Saints isn’t the first brand to become a part of it.

“The US are having a love affair with all things British at the moment,” marketing manager Sian O’Flaherty told ShopStyle.

“Last year, Belstaff were at New York Fashion Week and earlier this year Victoria Beckham debuted her collection.”

She reckons the addition of All Saints to the schedule will bring something ‘unexpected and innovative’ to the schedule.

“I think New Yorkers will appreciate the East London aesthetic of All Saints – it’s urban and edgy, and from the press materials, it looks like their fashion show’s going to provide something a bit unexpected and innovative,” she said.

The high-street on the runway has had something of a renaissance recently, with Whistles making their debut at London Fashion Week earlier this year.

The announcement comes after the news that Selfridges former director of menswear Anita Barr has joined All Saints as Global Director of Product Merchandising – it’s all go!
