Alexa Chung shows off eighties inspired hair

New York Fashion Week may be well and truly underway, but it looks like Alexa Chung is trying out a last minute new hairdo.

Taking inspiration from the eighties, the style fave shared a snap of her hair experiment on Instagram yesterday, captioned, "Gave the eighties a whirl in studio down time."

Complete with a nude lip and camera-perfect pose, Alexa worked dishevelled backcombing and precision volume.

But she could probably wear a bag over her head and call it a trend…
