Alesha Dixon reveals her £5 beauty secret as she launches her first fragrance Rose Quartz in the UK

Britain’s Got Talent judge opened up about how she keeps her and her daughter Azura Sienna’s skin soft in the harsh winter months

She’s the reason we tune into BGT every week, with her enviable wardrobe, flawless make-up and glossy brunette locks.

But Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon has revealed her New Year beauty secret to us – and we were shocked to find out it costs less than £5 to stick to.

The 35-year-old TV beauty spoke to us at the launch of her first fragrance Rose Quartz in London and admitted she’s a fan of multi-purpose coconut oil – also loved by supermodel Miranda Kerr.

“Buy a tub of coconut oil. You can use it on your hair and skin and you can cook with it,” she told Yahoo Lifestyle in her first public appearance since having daughter Azura Sienna with partner Azuka Ononye in October 2013.

“I even use it on Azura’s skin. It’s the best multi-tasking product ever and it’s really natural as well. I always say the more natural with everything the better. “

The stunning brunette – who’s set to return to our screens on BGT in just ten days time – also admitted she’s currently juicing to stay healthy as a new mum.

“Today, I had my breakfast this morning and then I had a juice. You just have it in addition. I guess you could just take a vitamin but you’re drinking it instead,” she admitted.

And the former Mis-Teeq star said to us that having her daughter has delayed the launch of her debut fragrance – which she had the first meeting for back in 2009.

"Becoming a mum delayed the perfume. Originally I was going to bring it out at Christmas, but then thought it was best to wait until I'd had the baby so I could focus on the launch,” said the BGT star at the fragrance launch at St Martin’s Lane Hotel in London.

But she told us that she may well be naming her next fragrance after her adorable three-month-old daughter.

"I think Azura would have made a really good name for a perfume. It sounds quite mystical doesn't it! Who knows, she might influence the next one,” she suggested.

Alesha Rose Quartz is priced at £25.00 for 50ml and will be available to buy from leading fragrance outlets from March 2014.
