Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace desperate to become a mum

Reality TV star Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace won't let her fruitless search for Mr. Right ruin her chances of having a baby - she's hunting for a sperm donor.

The blonde bombshell, who shot to fame when she came third on the 2006 series of Big Brother, has dated boxer Mike Tyson and footballer Jermain Defoe but both romances failed to go the distance.

After her mum Sophia, 54, passed away in February, Aisleyne was forced to rethink her priorities and is now desperate to have a baby - with or without a man by her side.

She tells Now! magazine, "I was too busy having fun. I thought I was invincible and had forever. It made me realise how fragile life could be and that I wanted to become a mother. I want that responsibility of looking after someone completely helpless, to bring them up to be decent and give them the best life I possibly can. I want to live for someone other than just myself."

Aisleyne, 34, is keen to put aside her late night partying for early morning nappy changes and visited a London clinic three weeks ago to discuss getting pregnant via artificial insemination.

She adds, "Sperm donation seems the only logical option. I don't need a man financially. I can do it myself. I'm 34, my biological clock is ticking and I haven't got forever.

"I do think a child needs a dad and that's a big drawback to doing it on my own. But there are so many single parents or children with a bad father - in this day and age the nuclear family hardly exists. If I do meet Mr Right he's going to have to accept me with this child. And anyway, having no stability is more detrimental to a child than having no father at all."

Best of luck Aisleyne but we won't be signing up for babysitting duties!
